Upcoming dates for Admissions in September 2026:

Thursday 31st October 2025

This is the closing date for applications to high schools.  You will have until 11:59pm to submit your application online via the local authority.

Monday 18th March 2026

This is the deadline to respond to your high school offer.  You will have until 11:59pm to accept or decline online.

For many of you who know the school, EWS will be your first choice. For those of you who are going through the transition process for the first time, please be assured that we are an excellent choice. Thursday 7th May - 4:30pm to 6:00pm

The Year 6 Open House:  This is a voluntary event for new parents and carers to ask any immediate questions.  Please email admissions@ellenwilkinson.ealing.sch.uk to reserve your place

Monday 11th May to Tuesday 23rd June

Primary school visits:  Each year we enjoy visiting your child in their primary school

Thursday 4th June - 4:30pm to 7:30pm

Transition Evening for Parents and Carers:  We strongly recommend you attend this information evening.  We will send you a dedicated time slot for this event nearer the date

Thursday 18th June - 5:30pm to 6:30pm

Year 6 BBQ: Each year we host a family fun BBQ with complementary food, refreshments, music and activities

Monday 22nd June to Thursday 25th June

Teacher, parent and carer 1 to 1 meetings:  Your chance to meet EWS in school to ask any questions.  We will send you an appointment slot nearer the time

Friday 26th June - 8:45 am to 3:00pm

Transition Day at EWS for all Year 6 students:  This date is decided by the London Borough of Ealing.  All Year 6 children are on site at EWS for the whole day, doing a range of fun and educational activities
