At Ellen Wilkinson we offer Health and Social Care at BTEC Level 1/2 Tech award and BTEC Level 3, equivalent to 2 ‘A’ Levels. It is a popular choice with many students relishing the opportunity to study a subject that they have not experienced before with a number of students continuing to study the subject at university each year.

Health and Social care is a very comprehensive subject, we cover all aspects of Healthcare.  In GCSE we cover lifespan development and working in Healthcare.  At level 3, we further investigate healthcare, some of the topics are Dementia awareness, research methods and Health and Safety.
