Last week 19 GCSE Spanish students travelled to Madrid accompanied by Ms Wright and Ms Hodgkins! We spent 2 days exploring the city and visited several iconic cultural sites for example the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, Retiro Park, Las Ventas bullring, Reina Sofia museum, Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace! We all had a wonderful time and the students did brilliantly practising their Spanish while ordering food and drink and purchasing souvenirs. Many thanks to all the parents and carers who supported and funded the trip and to the students who behaved perfectly, were enthusiastic about the whole experience and made us very proud!
